Roses are red, violets are blue, we have crafted this menu with love for two.
This years Valentines day may be a home occasion, but that doesn't mean it can't be special.
Forget ordering in food this Valentines day, nothing says "I love you" like lovingly preparing a romantic meal for that someone special. We have crafted a simple yet delicious 3-course menu that is guaranteed to impress regardless of your culinary skills.
The recipes below are for two portions.

Step 1
Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.

In a small bowl mix together the lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic mince, black pepper, paprika and oregano.

Line a baking tray with foil and place the salmon fillets on top.

Top with the lemon-garlic sauce, cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes (depending on the thickness of your salmon) until pink in colour.

Serve with salad.

Preheat oven to 230 degrees.

Cut the chicken into fillets and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and chilli powder.

Line a baking tray with foil and brush with olive oil.

Place the chicken breasts on top and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Whilst the chicken is baking, boil the tagliatelle for 7-9 minutes.

Drain the tagliatelle, toss with 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp mixed herbs.

Add the broccoli to a pan with 3 tbsp water and steam on low heat for approximately 5 minutes.

To serve, place the tagliatelle in the centre, top with the chicken breast and place the steamed broccoli on the side.

Line a muffin tin with 2 cupcake liners.

Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix together with the melted butter.

Place half of the mixture into each cupcake liner and press down firmly using the back of a spoon.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Then whisk together the cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl whisk the double cream until soft peaks form.

Fold the double cream with the cream cheese mixture.

Top the cheesecake bases with the filling and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours (ideally overnight).

Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath.

Remove the cheesecakes from the cupcake liners and top with the chocolate. Cut a strawberry in half and place on top.
